“Dal punto di vista figurativo, mi piacciono i volti e tutto ciò che li caratterizza. Luci, imperfezioni, stati d’animo: questo è quanto voglio riportare nei miei lavori. Se dovessi elencare qualche nome di artista probabilmente direi: Gottfried Helnwein, Paul Beel, Jenny Saville, Erica Campanella, Nicola Nannini, gisto per citarne alcuni. Tra i miei maestri c'è Romain Slocombe, un pittore, fotografo, romanziere e regista. Fin dagli anni ‘70 è noto per la sua passione per l'erotismo giapponese e per quel genere denominato "medical art": ragazze ferite e bendate, ingessate e costrette su un letto d'ospedale. Ho contatti periodici via mail con Romain (ci siamo conosciuti su myspace) al quale chiedo sempre di commentare i miei lavori”. ...
