Plot Synopsis
For more than 30 years Gottfried Helnwein has been one of the most well-known and, at the same time, , one of the most controversial German-speaking artists of the post-war period. His works are in demand at the most renowned museums in the world and his exhibitions attract the highest numbers of visitors. Ranging from his hyper-realistic depictions of tortured girls from the 1970s to the paintings and photographs of today, Helnwein shocks, fascinates and touches a global public.
